ECM Expands its Facility Management Activities through the Acquisition of Optiservis /14. 02. 2008/

A 50% stake in Optiservis to be acquired and held by ECM Facility

Prague, 14 February 2008 – ECM Real Estate Investments A.G. (“ECM”), one of the leading property development, investment and facility management companies operating in Central and Eastern Europe, announces the acquisition of a 50% stake in Optiservis, a specialised facility management company based in Prague, the Czech Republic, via its subsidiary ECM Facility a.s.    

Voting rights are split between ECM Facility and the owners of the remaining stake in Optiservis at a 3:1 ratio, giving ECM economic control over Optiservis.

Commenting on the acquisition, Jan Soukup, General Manager of ECM Facility, said:

“We are very happy to announce the acquisition of a stake in Optiservis, a specialised facility management company that has a very interesting business portfolio in its core Prague market, including a number of residential projects. This acquisition will further strengthen ECM’s position in the facility management business in the Czech Republic and will create further synergy between the two companies.”
